Dr Karen Brook has been in general practice since 2000 and is interested in paediatrics, women’s health and general health. Her special interests include women’s health, general medicine, and paediatric health.

Dr Rebecca Daniels General Practitioner

Dr Rebecca Daniels grew up in Hobart and graduated from the University of Tasmania. She has obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. After working overseas and interstate for a number of years she returned to general practice in Hobart in 2006. Dr Daniels has an interest in all areas of general practice, in particular paediatrics, women’s health and refugee health. She is also involved in general practice education and assessment.

Dr Anita Green General Practitioner

Dr Anita Green grew up in Hobart and completed her medical degree at the University of Tasmania. After graduating she moved to the Northern Territory and worked at the Royal Darwin Hospital before commencing general practice. After 22 years in the NT Dr Anita, like most Tasmanians, returned to Tasmania with her family in 2011. She particularly enjoys the diversity and continuity of care in general practice. In her spare time, Dr Anita plays the French horn in various ensembles, enjoys bushwalking, gardening and volunteers with Gondwana National Choirs at their National Choral School and as a tour Doctor.

Dr Sonista Jasal General Practitioner

Dr Sonista Jasal joined general practice in 2010. She attained her fellowship with The Royal Australian College Of General Practitioners in 2013. She has had medical experience and trained in several different countries including Trinidad, the UK, Austria and Malaysia. Although she enjoys all aspects of general practice, her main areas of interest include women’s health. paediatric health, sexual health, chronic medicine, and teaching. Dr Jasal is fluent in English, Malay, and Punjabi. She moved to Tasmania in 2006, she enjoys spending her spare time with her children, travelling and cooking.

Dr Erica Jones General Practitioner

Dr Erica Jones is a graduate of the University of Tasmania’s Medical School. She served for a number of years as a Medical Officer in the RAAF, where she developed interests in sports, travel and aviation. On leaving the RAAF, Dr Erica worked in general practice in Townsville and surrounding areas in Queensland while attaining her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Erica has been practising in Hobart since 2005, and enjoys all aspects of general practice.

Dr Amanda Lo General Practitioner

Dr Amanda Lo is from Hobart and completed medical school at the University of Tasmania. After spending several years training in hospitals in Victoria and Queensland, Amanda returned to Tasmania to work at our practice. She has worked in medical education, and enjoys supporting students and doctors in training. She enjoys managing a broad range of general practice presentations in people of all ages. In her spare time, Dr Lo enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.

Dr Hoda Taheri General Practitioner

Dr Hoda Taheri graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2007 and has spent most of her life here. She loves the diversity and enjoys all aspects of general practice. In her spare time she reads and paints, and goes for walks with her dogs. Dr Hoda practises from Stoke Street General Practice on Monday’s and Wednesday’s, and from Argyle Street General Practice on Thursday’s and alternate Tuesday mornings.

Dr Philip Gale General Practitioner

MBBS MMed(Child & Adolescent Health)

Dr Philip Gale is a local Tasmanian from Hobart who completed his medical training at the University of Tasmania. He has worked in a broad range of fields, including general medicine, emergency medicine and palliative care prior to entering General Practice. He has a Masters of Medicine in Child and Adolescent Health (University of Sydney) and recently returned from the UK where he was working in haematology.

Dr Phil enjoys surfing and hiking, while also being a long-term member of the Taroona Football Club. He is interested in all aspects of general practice, but particularly enjoys preventative medicine, paediatrics, men’s health and chronic disease management.

Dr Dimitrios Klonaris General Practitioner

Dr Dimitrios Klonaris has been a doctor for over 30 years, starting in 1986. He began his medical career in the North of the state in Wynyard and Ulverstone before coming to work in Hobart. His interests are skin cancer, surgery, mental health and migrant health. Dr Klonaris is of Greek heritage and speaks the language fluently.
